Semi-Final Round of Judging for the Most Important TV Prize 'International Emmy®' in Berlin

This year the preselection for the International Emmy® Awards, the most important international television award, took place in Berlin. FFP New Media and Ziegler Film, under the patronage of the Governing Mayor of Berlin, Klaus Wowereit, organized the Semi-Final Judgings in four categories, the event being held on June 6th, 2012.


This renowned television award is bestowed every year by the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences in a total of twenty categories. Competing programmes are submitted from all around the world. The first round of selection is conducted by representatives from all sectors of the international TV industry. In the following semi-final rounds, which take place in various countries, the juries, consisting of 10 to 15 members, then make their nominations in the individual categories. These jury sessions are organised by Academy members in their own countries.
